Which data we process

• Browsing data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, collected automatically by the systems that run the site.
• Order data: first and last name, email, phone, delivery and billing addresses, wines purchased, amounts, declaration of legal age. Payment is handled by the payment service provider: we do not receive your full card details.
• Customer account: if you create an account or log in at checkout, your profile data and order history.
• Messages: the data you give us when you write to us or call us.

Why we process it

• To manage orders, shipping, payments and customer service: performance of the contract (article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting obligations and the ban on selling alcohol to minors: legal obligation (article 6(1)(c)).
• For the security of the site, fraud prevention and the protection of our rights: legitimate interest (article 6(1)(f)).
• For statistics and marketing cookies: your consent (article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.

Required data

The data requested when you order is needed to conclude and carry out the purchase: without it we cannot fulfil your order. We do not use your data to send you promotional messages without your consent.

Who receives the data

We do not sell your data. We share it only with those we need in order to sell and deliver the wines:

• Wix.com Ltd., the platform that hosts the site and the shop, which processes the data on our behalf as a data processor;
• payment service providers;
• the courier who delivers the order;
• the advisers who assist us with tax and accounting obligations;
• the authorities, where required by law.

Transfers outside the European Union

Wix.com Ltd. is based in Israel, a country for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision, and may use providers based in other countries, including the United States. Transfers take place with the safeguards provided for by chapter V of the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep it

• Order data and tax documents: 10 years, as required by law (article 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).
• Customer account: as long as it remains active; you can ask us to delete it at any time.
• Messages: for as long as needed to reply and deal with the request.
• Cookies: for the duration shown in the cookie settings; technical cookies at most for the session or to remember your choices.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (articles 15 to 22 GDPR), by writing to info@vinicali.it. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

If you believe the processing infringes the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Cookies

Cookies are small files that the site stores in your browser.

Technical cookies. They make the site, the cart and the checkout work and remember your cookie choices. They are set by Wix and do not require consent.

Statistics and marketing cookies. They help us understand how the site is used. They are activated only if you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit; if you close the banner or choose “Reject all”, they stay off.

You can change your choices at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, or by deleting cookies in your browser.

The site’s fonts and images are loaded from the site’s own servers and from Wix’s. Links to Google Maps, Instagram and Facebook lead to external sites, which have their own privacy notices.
